The newly renovated General Assembly Hall at the United Nations

The newly renovated General Assembly Hall is ready to host the 69th United Nations General Assembly in the United Nations building in New York City on September 17, 2014. The General Assembly Building closed for renovation on May 31, 2013. The General Assembly Hall is the largest room in the United Nations, with seating capacity for over 1,800 people.
