Science fiction author Ray Bradbury recovers from stroke

VAN99111202 -12 NOVEMBER 1999 - VANCOUVER, B.C. CANADA: Science fiction author Ray Bradbury, shown at Vancouver's Granville Island during a 1995 Writer's Festival, is recovering from a stroke at his Palm Springs home according to a November 12, 1999 report by Daily Variety. Seventy-nine-year-old Bradbury, known for science fiction classics Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles, lost partial use of his right side in the stroke but is expected to make a full recovery according to long time friend John Dayton. hr/H.
