Mel Brooks places hands and footprints in wet cement at TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles

Writer/director/actor Mel Brooks is hugged by his grandson Henry Michael Brooks following Brooks' hands & footprints ceremony in the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman's), in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles on September 8, 2014.The award-winning filmmaker wore a prosthetic sixth finger on one hand to add a little extra charm while pressing his feet and hands into cement.
