WORLD SERIES BASEBALL RELEASED

SLP2003100104- FENTON, Mo. (October 1 (UPI) -- Rawlings Sporting Goods Company has released the 2003 baseball that will be used by Major League Baseball for this year's World Series in Fenton, Mo on October 1, 2003. The baseball has gold lettering with red stitching and a logo commerating the 100th anniversary of the World Series. The World Series will begin on October 19th. bg/Bill Greenblatt UPI
