Missouri Head football coach arrested for DWI in Columbia, Missouri

Gary Pinkel, head football coach at the University of Missouri has been arrested and faces a possible charge of driving while intoxicated in Columbia, Missouri on November 16, 2011. Pinkel was stopped by a Boone County sheriff's deputy for failing to signal while turning. Pinkel was arrested and booked on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Pinkel posted a $500 bond and was released from the Boone County Jail. The sheriff's department said this is Pinkel's first offense, and deputies said he was cooperative.
