Drought
ASH99081805 - 18 AUGUST 1999 - ASHVILLE, OHIO, USA: Dave Rennick, a farmer in southeast Ohio, shows how the drought has affected his corn crop by producing non-existant ears of corn. The corn would normally be about 9 feet tall and produce 150 bushells of corn per acre. Rennick says he expects no more that 10 bushells of corn from his entire crop of field corn. The drought has severely affected southeast Ohio and many farmers expect to loose 50-80% of their crops this year. UPI mw/Mike WIlliams
