Morningside Heights Block Named 'George Carlin Way' In Honor Of Late Comedian.

West 121st Street now shares the name George Carlin Way at the George Carlin Way Unveiling Ceremony in New York City on October 22, 2014. During a special ceremony Wednesday afternoon, a sign went up on the block naming it 'George Carlin Way'. The late comedian grew up on West 121st Street between Broadway and Amsterdam in Morningside Heights. UPI/Dennis Van Tine
