MONTER BURGER SELLING WELL
The Monster Thickburger introduced by Hardees two weeks ago is selling very well according to the St. Louis-based fast food chain on December 2, 2004. The Thickburger, a 1,420 calories, 107 grams of fat double burger sandwich has raised profits for the 2,067 resturant chain. Hardees is hoping the big burger campaign, costing roughly $8 to $10 million, will rival other fast-food stores like McDonalds and Wendy's who are selling lower calorie meals.
