Tennis Star Peng Shuai Not Seen Since Her Sexual Assault Allegations

Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai has not been seen in public since shortly after she said on November 2, 2021 that she was sexually assaulted by former vice premiere Shang Gaoli. Chinese state media published an email today, November 18, 2021, purportedly written by Peng, saying the accusations were false but the WTA and others say the email is a fraud.
