MISSOURI BOTANICAL GARDEN OPENS CHIHULY'S "GLASS IN THE GARDEN"
Visitors stop to look at the "Walla Walla Onions," glass pieces with pointed tips that resemble the famous sweet onions of Washington State on the ponds created by Dale Chihuly and known as "Glass in the Garden ," that has opened at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis on April 27, 2006. Chihuly is known for his vibrantly colorful fluid and organic monumental glass sculptures often presented in complex groupings. The Climatron is pictured behind. (UPI Photo/Bill Greenblatt)
