IRAQI BABY NOOR SURGERY

The surgical team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, led by Michael T. Busch, M.D., orthopaedic surgeon for the spina bifida program at Children's, prepares Baby Noor for surgery on her left foot to help correct an equinum contracture on February 24, 2006. The Iraqi infant was born with spina bifida. She came to Atlanta December 31, 2005, after U.S. soldiers discovered her near Bagdad and spearheaded the effort for life-saving surgery.
