Hostess foods maker of cupcakes and twinkies decide to close

Hostess Brands, maker of Wonder Bread, Hostess Cupcakes and Twinkies have decided to close their plants and cease operations on November 16, 2012. The Cupcake (L) and Twinkie, shown in St. Louis are two of their popular snack cakes. Hostess Brands, employed 19,000 employees in 20 bakieres nationwide.
