Westminster Dog Show meet the breeds event

ABengal cat is held on stage at the Westminster Dog Show meet the breeds event two weeks before the 141st Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on January 30, 2017. Three breeds including the American Hairless Terrier, the Pumi and the Sloughi will compete for the first time at MSG during the annual competition, which will take place on Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 14, 2017. The first Westminster show was held on May 8, 1877, making it the second-longest continuously held sporting event in the United States behind only the Kentucky Derby, which was first held in 1875.
