Rising rivers force many from their homes in Missouri

Trafic is restricted to two lanes along the flooded areas in both directions on Highway 44 in Valley Park, Missouri on March 22, 2008. The Missouri Department of Transportation installed barriers with plastic and sandbags to stop the waters of the Meramec River from getting onto the highway.
