finalist on"American Idol" talent search TV show

NYP2002090311 - NEW YORK, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Finalist in the Fox TV "American Idol" talent search show Justin Guarini from Pennsylvania and Kelly Clarkson from Texas will square off on Sept. 4, 2002, during a live two hour broadcast expected to be watch by more than 20 million viewers. These two finalist were chosen by the viewing public from a group of 10 over a 5 week period. The winner will recieve a recording contract. rlw/ep/Ezio Petersen UPI
