McDonald's to make new fries
SLP2002090404 - CHICAGO, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- McDonald's Corporation has announced it will cook its famous french fries in a new oil that reduces the type of fats that cause heart diseases, in Chicago on Sept. 3, 2002. Starting in Oct. the world's largest fast-food restaurant chain will use a new oil but will taste the same and contain the same amount of total fat. mk/bg/Bill Greenblatt UPI
