Daimler Chrysler Assembly plant to shut down in St. Louis
Dodge Ram trucks are loaded onto a carrier at the Daimler Chrysler Assembly plant north and south in Fenton, Missouri on July 2, 2008. Daimler Chrysler has announced that they will stop making the Town and Country minivan at the plant, eliminating over 2,400 jobs. At the south plant, 1,500 people work to assemble minivans, production will end on October 31.
