Daimler Chrysler Assembly plant to shut down in St. Louis

Daimler Chrysler has announced that they will stop making the Town and Country minivan at the plant, eliminating over 2,400 jobs. At the south plant, 1,500 people work to assemble minivans, production will end on October 31.
