Mayor Bill de Blasio arrives to deliver remarks at the Police Athletic League December Luncheon in New York City on December 22, 2014. On Saturday two police officers were shot dead as they sat in their marked patrol car at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Tompkins Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
