Chinese go to church in Beijing
Chinese Catholics visit "The Church of the Saviour," built in 1703, and now the largest Roman Catholic Church in Beijing on July 24, 2011. China's state-controlled Catholic church plans to ordain at least seven more bishops in spite of a deepening rift with the Vatican over recent ordinations lacking papal approval. A bishop ordained without papal approval has been excommunicated from the Catholic Church, the Vatican said last week, bringing relations with the Vatican and China's communist leaders to a new low.
