Chinese perform in an acrobatic show in Beijing

Chinese acrobats and dancers perform in Beijing's most famous acrobat show October 22, 2011. With a history of more than 2,500 years, Chinese acrobatics have won the China the title of "Kingdom of Acrobatics." The performances consist of a combination of dance, opera arts, ballet and magic. With the advent of contemporary culture in China, improved music, costumes, lighting and modern choreography have been introduced in Chinese acrobatics - making it a comprehensive stage art performed by more than 100 troupes throughout the country.
