Animal Kingdom, making his first start on a dirt track, swept around the leaders in the final furlong of the Churchill Downs stretch and won by 2 3/4 surprising lengths. The spotlight is now on Animal Kingdom as he prepares for the next leg of his quest to become the 12th horse to sweep the Run for the Roses, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes.
