Crown of Statue of Liberty re-opens in New York

Frederick Sciulli, 54, of Norfolk, Virginia, yells down to the crowd below as he sticks his head out of a window in the crown of the Statue of Liberty in New York City on July 4, 2009. The first visitors were allowed into the Statue of Liberty's crown today after it was closed to the public after the September 11, 2001 attacks. The base, pedestal and outdoor observation deck were reopened in 2004, but the crown remained closed. (UPI Photo/David Goldman/Pool)
