King Abdullah's remarks on Iran are some of the most striking comments to be found in the leaks. Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev are equated by U.S. diplomatic cables to Batman and Robin respectively, despite Medvedev's higher rank in the government. Putin is described as an "alpha dog" which should come to no one's surprise, and that Russia has become a "virtual mafia state."
