Fire boat response crews battle the blazing remnants of the off shore oil rig, Deepwater Horizon, off the coast of New Orleans, Louisiana. 11 workers are missing after the oil rig exploded on April 20, 2010. The mobile drilling platform in mile-deep water is owned by a Swiss corporation, Transocean Ltd., and leased by British Petroleum. BP officials say they do not believe the $350 million rig is leaking oil into the gulf, but as many as seven oil spill response vessels are on standby, if needed.
