Paris on alert after terror threats (11 images)

French police say they've arrested 12 people in the south of the country suspected of having links to terrorist networks.

French national police said nine of those arrested have links to an Islamist movement and allegedly tried to obtain weapons and explosives, CNN reported Tuesday.
