Sandy, which killed at least 15 people, zapped power, forced evacuations, flooded highways along the U.S. East Coast and left parts of New York City severely damaged.
Charred debris is all that is left of the eighty houses burned to the ground in the community of Breezy Point in the borough of Queens on October 31, 2012 in New York City.
