Heavy thunderstorms hit the Washington metro area
Heavy overnight thunderstorms devastated the Washington metro area, June 30, 2012. The death toll from the widespread, violent thunderstorms that ripped through at least seven states Friday night rose to at least 14 in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Kentucky and Washington. UPI/Kevin Dietsch
