"Oasis of the Seas" is currently the largest and most innovative vessel to serve the cruise and travel industry. At 1,187 feet, or nearly four football fields long, "Oasis" is the longest cruise ship to serve the Caribbean. Royal Caribbean International is planning her inaugural cruise to take place on Dec 5.

The Oasis of the Seas, the world's largest cruise liner, is seen during its float out ceremony on November 25, 2008. The cruise vessel, commissioned by Royal Caribbean International, departed Turku, Finland on October 30, 2009 on its maiden voyage bound for Florida. The Oasis spans 1,200 feet (360 meters), 16-decks, and can accommodate 6,300 passengers and 2,100 crew. UPI/Royal Caribbean International
