J.K. Rowling vs. PM Natalie McGarry
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling's feud with U.K. Parliament member Natalie McGarry began when McGarry accused Rowling of defending "abusive misognist trolls," referring to a tweet Rowling send thanking @BrianSpanner1, an account with a history of spamming McGarry, for making a donation to her children's charity. McGarry later deleted her tweets after Rowling threatened a defamation lawsuit: "You don't appear to understand how Twitter or defamation works. I'm going to help you out with the latter."
