Ringling Bros. performs final shows in New York (16 images)

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus performed its final day of shows in New York on May 21, shutting down after 146 years.

Feld Entertainment, who owns the production, announced in January that declining ticket sales and high operating costs were the reason for the decision to cease operations.
