Famed author Elmore Leonard died on August 20, 2013 at his Detroit home three weeks after suffering a stroke. Leonard's works have been adapted as the films "Out of Sight," "Be Cool," "Hombre," "Mr. Majestyk," "Get Shorty" and "3:10 to Yuma," as well as the TV series "Justified."
