Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel frescoes recreated in photos in New York City (10 images)

Near life-size photographic reproductions of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel frescoes are on display at the Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center from June 23 to July 23, 2017 in New York City.

Thirty-four works have been reproduced close to their original size based on photographs taken by Austrian photographer Erich Lessing and members of his archive after the restoration of the frescoes, which took place between 1982 and 1994.

Exhibit tickets start at $15.
