Great White Shark migration observed in Mexico

The "Sea Escape" vessel, operated by tour operator, Club Cantamar of LaPaz, Mexico, sits off of Isla Guadalupe on September 16, 2008. The tour company is conducting joint tourism and behavioral observation of Great White Sharks on their migratory path west of Baja California. The tour company has taken an active role with the Shark Research Institute. On board observers from Isla Guadalupe Conservation, also report to the Mexican Government on activities to assure continued support of the efforts, while maintaining a close watch on tour activity to the island.
