On June 14, 1777, Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the national flag of the United States. We commemorate Flag Day this year by highlighting memorable moments in the flag's history.

Nine local architectural and design firms are building various ten-foot by ten-foot structures made entirely out of can goods.
