Leonardo DiCaprio
During the filming of Django Unchained (2012), Leonardo DiCaprio cut his hand on a piece of glass. Despite gushing blood, DiCaprio did not break character and finished the take, which was included in the finished cut of the film. Viggo Mortensen
While filming The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002), Viggo Mortensen broke two toes kicking a helmet. His subsequent scream and fall made the final cut. Mortensen wasn't the only one to suffer injuries while filming the trilogy. Sean Astin injured his foot after stepping on a shard of glass, and Orlando Bloom cracked a rib after falling from his horse. Tom Hanks
On the set of Cast Away (2000), Tom Hanks cut his leg. Two weeks later, the wound began to swell and Hanks was taken to the hospital with a dangerous staph infection.
