Remembering Princess Diana (28 images)

It's been 25 years since the death of Britain's Princess Diana, known around the world for her humanitarian work. She was killed in a car accident in Paris on Aug. 31, 1997.

Diana, mother to Princes William and Harry, was mourned around the world, with more than 2,000 people attending her funeral at Westminster Abbey. Here are some scenes from her life as "the People's Princess."
