Stan Musial

Actor Ed Lauter died on October 16, 2013 after battling mesothelioma. He was a character actor known for roles in "The Longest Yard," "Kojak," "Charlie's Angels," "The X-Files," "The Artist," and others. UPI/ Phil McCarten

Ms. Yvonne C. Brill
Brill was a Canadian scientist best known for her development of rocket and jet propulsion technologies. She died on March27. During her career she was involved in a broad range of national space programs in the U.S., including NASA and the International Maritime Satellite Organization. Cory Monteith
Canadian actor and singer Cory Monteith, best known as Finn Hudson on "Glee," was found dead in a Canadian hotel on July 14. Monteith was treated for substance abuse this year. UPI/Jim Ruymen
