In this photo taken on August 30, 2013, 7 year old Bibi Shagufa collects scraps of paper and plastic at the local garbage dump, in the Pakistani town of Chaman which shares a border with Afghanistan. Chaman is in the Balochistan part of Pakistan and is the crossing point for U.S. vehicles and supplies leaving Afghanistan to Karachi. Poverty levels are increasing As NATO Troops leave Afghanistan and the Afghan youth resort to waiting for the garbage trucks to arrive with a fresh load of trash in the hopes of finding something useable to take home to their families. Mostly they look for things they can burn as fuel for cooking. UPI/Matiullah.
