WINNIPEG, Manitoba, May 29 (UPI) -- A 21-year-old Canadian woman twice convicted of exposing her breasts to children in Winnipeg has been sentenced to one week in jail.

At the sentencing hearing for the unidentified woman, defense lawyer Don Henderson cited Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder as justification for a lenient sentence, the Winnipeg Sun reported Thursday.

The woman was first arrested in March for flashing school buses near an elementary school, and was on probation when she was arrested again May12 when she exposed her breasts to a passing truck with a young boy nearby, the report said.

Community prosecutor Susan Helenchilde asked for a 90-day sentence.

"The Crown has serious concerns about what kind of impact that will have on the children in the future," said Helenchilde Wednesday.

However, Judge Ted Lismer noted the woman had already been in jail for 16 days and added a week to the sentence with a strict warning, the report said.
