SAN JOSE, Calif., March 28 (UPI) -- A former NASA employee in California has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for storing child pornography on his work computer.

Mark Zelinsky of San Bruno pleaded guilty in December. A federal judge in San Jose said Zelinsky must serve seven years of supervised release after he completes his prison term, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Zelinsky worked at the Ames Research Center in Mountain View. Two other National Aeronautics and Space Administration employees in California have pleaded guilty to similar charges and are awaiting sentencing.
