Rockets interrupt Purim in Israel

JERUSALEM, March 22 (UPI) -- The Purim festival in southern Israel was interrupted Friday afternoon by rockets fired from Gaza.
No injuries were reported, Ynetnews reported. Three rockets were believed to have been fired, with one landing on the Palestinian side of the border and the other two in empty areas.
But in Kibbutz Alumim, 600 people at a street fair scattered, looking for shelter, when warning sirens sounded.
"It was very unpleasant. Many of the participants aren't from the area and came here to visit, they grew frightened and left very quickly," a witness said.
Earlier in the day, a Hamas militant was reported killed and two others injured in an accidental blast at a training camp in Gaza. A similar explosion Thursday killed two Hamas fighters.
In the Hebron Hills, a 13-year-old boy was wounded Thursday. He was a passenger in a car hit by a roadside bomb, the Jerusalem Post reported.
