MEMHIS, Tenn., Jan. 2 (UPI) -- A Memphis mother was charged with reckless homicide after fire swept through her home and killed her two young home-alone boys.

Romello Winters, 4, and Christian Griffen, 7, died and were found in separate rooms of the burned-out Memphis condominium, the Memphis Commercial Appeal said. Their mother, Aundria Jones, allegedly told police she left the children home while she went out on New Year's Eve, the newspaper said.

The fire's cause remains under investigation, the paper said.
