A judge Monday ordered the arrest of five people with suspected al-Qaida links who allegedly received military training in Turkey's Hasan Mountains.

The New Anatolian said that the warrants were issued following security operations in Ankara and three other cities that resulted in 20 arrests.

The newspaper said the suspects were alleged to be tied to a militant group that claimed responsibility for the 2003 bombings of the British Consulate and other targets. Sixty people died in the attacks.
