Hells Angels leader killed in S.F.
Brooke Sarley, an eighth-grade honor student at the Bak Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, decided to create a Stephen Colbert-type satire, The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. But she found that the school took a dim view of the effort.
She took the 90-second clip down after school officials discovered it and wrote letters of apology.
"It was purely humor-related," she said.
Brooke was allowed to carry her digital phone in school because she was sports editor of the yearbook.
As a result of the flap, she now attends Okeeheelee Middle School near her home in Greenacres.
Katia Sarley said she believes her daughter's punishment was "extremely harsh," given her record at Bak.
