The area, which has been receiving relief food from government and humanitarian agencies for the past six months, has completely run out of supplies, The Nation reported Friday.

There has been no response from provincial administrators who were informed of the situation, The Nation said.

Civic leaders say people are starving because many of the villagers have lost their animals to raiders in neighboring Sudan and Ethiopia.
