The three were suspected of beating up and threatening a Palestinian who was cultivating his olive grove near Havat Gilad. The man was hospitalized for two days after the attack.

In another incident, the three allegedly shattered the headlights of a truck belonging to a Palestinian passing near the settlement.

During the arrest, the adult was found with an unlicensed machine gun that police suspect was used to threaten the Palestinian farmer.

Police are also looking into the possibility the three also used a gun, which has yet to be found, to threaten Palestinians.

The suspects were being questioned and further arrests were expected.
