West Nile virus spreads west
CLEVELAND, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Health officials Friday awaited laboratory test results to confirm whether an 88-year-old man suspected of being the sixth West Nile fatality in Ohio died of the mosquito-borne virus. Ohio, Illinois, Oklahoma and Indiana reported new human cases, and an Arizona horse was diagnosed with the virus, the first infection in the Western state.
