MILWAUKEE, May 11 (UPI) --
Two solo home runs by Ryan Braun helped the Milwaukee Brewers build a three-run lead en route to a 5-3 victory Sunday over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Braun homered in the fourth and fifth innings, the second shot giving Milwaukee a 4-1 advantage.
J.J. Hardy had three hits and knocked in a run for the Brewers, who have won two of three following a six-game losing streak.
Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan (2-2) was the winning pitcher, allowing a run and six hits in seven innings.
Ryan Ludwick homered for the Cardinals in their fourth loss in five games.
