MLB: Houston 8, LA Dodgers 5

LOS ANGELES, May 11 (UPI) -- The Houston Astros scored six runs in the eighth inning and won for the eighth time in nine games Sunday, defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-5.

Hunter Pence and Brad Asmus each drove in two runs and Mark Loretta, Lance Berkman, Carlos Lee and Michael Bourn had an RBI apiece for Houston.

Dodger starter Hiroki Kuroda had a no-hitter going until Pence lined a single to left in the seventh inning. The Astros then pounded reliever Jonathan Broxton for six runs in the eighth and added two more in the ninth.

Geoff Geary (1-1) was the winning pitcher in relief of Shawn Cacon, who limited the Dodgers, who have lost four straight games, to two runs and seven hits in six Innings.

Broxton, the loser, is 1-1.

James Loney hit a two-run home run for the Dodgers.
