SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 4 (UPI) -- FC Dallas' leading scorer, Kenny Cooper, managed two shots on goal but goals were hard to come by Saturday when Dallas and San Jose played to a 0-0 tie.

FC Dallas (2-1-3) held onto the top spot in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The Earthquakes (1-3-1) are tied for last in the conference with the two-time defending champion Houston Dynamo.
